Happy Birthday, Raffaello Follieri

We honor our favorite stars’ birthdays all the time at The Hollywood Gossip - but this is the first time we can remember where the celebrity has been in jail.

Following his hospitalization (accounts of why that happened vary and range from an anxiety attack to a sinus infection to being a spineless b!tch) Raffaello Follieri dined alone as he turned 30 in a dreary New York cell. Life’s tough.

The New York real estate developer — accused of bilking investors out of $6 million and being held on $21 million bail on charges of conspiracy, fraud and more — had planned to jet to his native Italy for a lavish birthday bash.

But instead of caviar and Dom Perignon on the island of Capri, he settled for jail house slop at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.

Anyway, here’s a photo tribute to Raffaello Follieri, who was dumped by Anne Hathaway right before his arrest (but after two recent others) …

KayCee Stroh Celebrates Birthday

KayCee Stroh celebrated her 24th birthday among family and friends on Thursday night.

In Utah shooting High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Stroh was thrown a surprise party at the Classic Skating & Fun Center in Salt Lake City on a day off from filming.

Sporting her new engagement ring, the actress was joined by fiancé Ben Higginson and costars Corbin Bleu, Ryne Sanborn, Bart Johnson and new cast members Justin Martin and Jemma McKenzie-Brown.

As People Magazine reports, she blew out the candles on custom-decorated ice cream cakes from Cold Stone Creamery. Her flavors of choice? Chocolate and chocolate chip.

Stroh portrays Martha Cox in the High School Musical franchise, staring alongside Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman, Corbin Bleu and Lucas Grabeel.

Meanwhile, according to our calendar of celebrity birthdays, Wentworth Miller and Brooke White turn 36 and 25, respectively, today. Congrats to each of them!
