Speidi Planning TV Wedding “For the Haters”

The Hills' Spencer Pratt acknowledges his Cabo San Lucas marriage to Heidi Montag was a total sham - but only because he was uninformed about the legalities.

“I didn’t even know you have to legalize a wedding,” claims Spencer, who tied the knot with Heidi, 22, in a nonbinding ceremony on November 19 in Mexico.

“I thought growing up, you say ‘I do’ and you’re married.”

Wonder if he envisioned camera crews and six-figure photo deals growing up. In any event, Heidi Montag agreed with his assessment, according to In Touch Weekly.

“We had our elopement, and to me, that counts,” the plastic princess said at Christian Audigier nightclub in Las Vegas on December 31, but she added that they are now planning to make it official - and will spare no expense.

“We’re going to have a bigger wedding for friends and family,” she said, and “We’ll definitely have it on TV because of the fans and haters,” interjected Spencer.

Alyssa Milano: Engaged to David Bugliari!

Wedding bells will apparently be ringing in the near future for former Charmed actress Alyssa Milano, as reps for the star announce that she said yes to a marriage proposal from boyfriend David Bugliari on December 18.

The two have dated for over a year - and he's also her agent at Creative Artists Agency. In December, David Bugliari confronted some dude Alyssa Milano called "obsessive" trying to get access to the actress at her home.

Talk about standing up for your woman!

Alyssa Milano was previously married to made-up musician Cinjun Tate way back in 1999. The couple separated and divorced that same year. She then went on to date approximately half the players in Major League Baseball.

The former Maxim and Stuff staple, who recently appeared in a recurring role on My Name is Earl, also briefly dated Justin Timberlake.

Woody Harrelson and Laura Louie: Married!

Woody Harrelson and Laura Louie, his girlfriend of two decades, married on Sunday on the island of Maui, his rep confirmed to celebrity news magazines.

The couple, who have been together for 20 years, tied the knot in front of a small group of their family and friends, including singer Willie Nelson and actors Owen Wilson and Sean Penn. Alanis Morissette sang at the ceremony.

Harrelson’s rep said, “Woody Harrelson and Laura Louie were officially married yesterday on the island of Maui. The ceremony was attended by family and friends. The couple have been together 20 years and are the proud parents of three daughters.”

The private wedding took place near Harrelson’s home in Kipahulu, Maui around 4.30 p.m. An hour later a large cheer could be heard by nearby hikers.

Harrelson fell in love with Louie in 1987 after meeting her on the set of Cheers.

This engagement should provide some solace to Tom Brady with his Pats potentially out of the playoffs this year, though they are still alive with a week to go.

Legality of Speidi Wedding Now Even More in Doubt

As we reported yesterday, Spencer Pratt himself is trying to set the record straight about what some (read: all) people think is an entirely staged wedding.

"We checked the confidentiality box, so good luck people," he told E! News' Ryan Seacrest in an interview that will air Monday on his KIIS-FM radio show.

But that's not necessarily the case.

Per California law, every marriage is public record. The confidentiality box Spencer hearts so only keeps the date private, not the record of the actual event.

So far there is none.

Cheers to faking our wedding in two different countries!

"We can confirm a confidential marriage if it exists," a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Registrar said. "We don't have anything for them in the system."

Monday's Hills season finale preview shows the duo before an alleged judge and the plastic Heidi Montag spouting what appear to be traditional wedding vows.

But who is even "officiating" at this thing? And was the whole charade even more fake than Heidi's nose, lips and boobs? Read on for more details!

Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini confirmed to E! that MTV obtained permission to film Heidi and Spencer in the Beverly Hills courthouse.

The session took place after regular business hours, however and like Heidi and Spencer's Patron-fueled Mexican vows, it was not necessarily legally binding.

"We can confirm that the wedding, or whatever it was, that occurred in the Beverly Hills Courthouse was for Mr. Pratt and Ms. Montag," Parachini said.

"What the outcome was or what happened during the ceremony is none of the court's business. It was a private matter. I don't know what transpired. All I know is what MTV said... that it was a news-related shoot."

Parachini also noted that the judge seemingly presiding over the affair - who has yet to be ID'd - was not associated with the Los Angeles court system.

This just gets fishier every day.

Speidi Wedding Part II: Another Sham!

Did Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who eloped in Cabo San Lucas November 20 (as shown on this week's episode) take The Hills viewers for a ride?

A preview clip of next week's finale of The Hills shows the couple, who say they married in Mexico, apparently making it official in a courthouse.

The gruesome twosome are seen entering the courtroom as a judge smiles down on them, with Spencer's sister, Stephanie Pratt, in attendance.

"I, Heidi, take thee, Spencer ... " Montag says in the promo.

But here's the problem: While a court spokesman says MTV was granted permission to film The Hills at the Beverly Hills courthouse, it apparently did so after hours, and the judge in the scene is not one of the court's judges.

So it was blatantly reenacted and/or staged, if we're reading between the lines right?

Addressing the matter on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, Spencer Pratt said of the legal documents, "We checked the confidentiality box, so good luck [finding out]."

Civil ceremonies are sometimes performed at the Beverly Hills courthouse, but not in the manner portrayed in The Hills preview, spokesman Allan Parachini said, adding that if a judge does preside, it's typically in chambers during a break.

There is no record of a marriage license for the couple in L.A. County, according to the Registrar's office, although a couple can request their license to remain private.

So whether they're actually married is still anyone's guess. Nevertheless, their ridiculous charade sure made for great pics: Check out our Speidi wedding album!

Tommy Hilfiger to Wed Dee Ocleppo … TONIGHT!

Tommy Hilfiger will marry his girlfriend, Dee Ocleppo, Friday night, according to the New York Post, which says it will be a "super-secret" wedding ceremony.

How secret? The only person who will be attending the service at Hilfiger's sprawling Greenwich, Connecticut estate - beside the gorgeous blond bride and preppy fashion designer groom - will be the justice of the peace performing the vows.

Reports that the couple tied the knot already today are untrue.

Tommy Hilfiger has been dating Dee Ocleppo – the ex-wife of 1980s Italian tennis star Gianni Ocleppo - for three years, and gave her an 8.2-carat diamond engagement ring. The two were originally due to wed in August but postponed the event.

Hilifger, 57, has four children from a previous marriage, including Rich Girls' Ally Hilfiger. Dee Ocleppo has two children from her previous marriage, as well.
