Madonna Finalizes Divorce, A-Rod Celebrates

Well, Alex Rodriguez hasn't commented on the record, but the Bronx baller has to be stoked as $h!t that his "f*%king soulmate, dude" is officially a free woman.

The BBC reports that according to court lists, Madonna and that Guy she was married to will be granted a preliminary divorce at the High Court in London on Friday.

According to British celebrity news reports, Madonna, 50, and Guy Ritchie, 40, reached a settlement over money and kids Lourdes, 12, Rocco, 8, and David, 3.

London's Evening Standard reports that Madonna will keep the bulk of her estimated $500 million fortune, though Ritchie was entitled by law to a share of it.

"He could have hugely boosted his bank balance and set himself up for life, but he already feels he has enough money," a pal of Guy told the the Standard.

"But he also didn't want the whole thing dragging on in the public gaze for months and months on end. In any case, his priority was their children's future."

Madonna and Ritchie were married in 2000, shortly after the birth of son Rocco. Since the split, Madonna and Alex Rodriguez, the baseball star whose relationship with her reportedly played a role in his own divorce, have been "involved."

A-Rod split with Cynthia Rodriguez earlier this year, after his alleged "affair of the heart" with Madonna and affairs of additional body parts with other skanks.

Britney Spears Joins Madonna on Stage

So much for a big Britney Spears-Justin Timberlake reunion.

Both pop stars converged at the much-hyped Madonna concert last night, although they did not appear with her at the same time, much to fans' chagrin.

Spears, clad in black pants, a white tuxedo-style shirt and sexy black heels, shared the spotlight with Madonna on "Human Nature." But Madonna's one-time makeout partner split long before Timberlake appeared to duet on Madonna's "4 Minutes."

Surrounded by bodyguards, Britney Spears immediately took off following Timberlake's appearance. Here's a brief look at Britney and Madonna:

Report: A-Rod, Madonna Rendezvous at Seinfeld Mansion

Their respective spouses now a thing of the past, rumored couple Madonna and Alex Rodriguez took a little trip to Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld's waterfront mansion in the Hamptons last week, according to a report in The New York Post.

A helicopter carrying A-Rod was spotted landing in East Hampton, where he was picked up in a white Porsche 911 matching the description of Jessica's car.

Less than 40 minutes later, another chopper carrying Madonna took off from NYC's Chelsea Piers and landed at the same airstrip, the newspaper reports.

"A dark SUV and Jerry in another Porsche both pulled up and picked up Madonna, and they headed back to Jerry's place," a witness told The Post.

"When they arrived at the Seinfeld home, Madonna poked her head out the window and could be clearly seen ... the visit lasted a few hours."

Is it odd Madonna and A-Rod chilled with Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld? Not really.

"The Seinfelds have been friends with Madonna for years. They're neighbors on the West Side, so it's really no surprise," an insider tells the paper. "And Jerry and Jessica Seinfield go to her concerts whenever she's in town."

Reports: Alex Rodriguez to Buy New York Apartment Next Door to Madonna; Singer Wants to Have His Baby

The UK's Daily Mail has some great Alex Rodriguez gossip today. Among the many rumors heating up surrounding the baseball star and Madonna are:

• Madonna's "soulmate" is close to buying an NYC penthouse apartment two blocks away as he yearns to be closer to her.
• A-Rod and Madonna are expected to go public as a couple in a few months.
• Alex Rodriguez has pledged to back the singer's passion to spread the mystical Kabbalah philosophy around the world.
• Madonna has talked about planning their wedding.
• She is hoping to enlarge her family with the baseball star.

Speculation of romantic sparks between the two has been off the hook after both of them announced they were getting divorced and the Rod has been spotted out and about with the superstar on a number of occasions.

So far they have not gone public, but some believe his apartment hunting is the first step in what will soon be an exclusive, romantic relationship.

"Alex knows that this is a difficult time for Madonna, especially as she has children," a source said. "So he thought this was the best way to be close to her without being too intrusive ... All he cares about is just being close to her."

Meanwhile, the 50-year-old Madonna is hoping she can have a biological child with Alex Rodriguez, despite her age and may already be planning their wedding.

A friend of hers says: "She thinks he's physically a great specimen. And if she is going to have another child, he would be the ideal man to bring one to her."
